Taiwan businessman Chen Chongguang finally settled in Nanning after nearly a year of investigation throughout the country. Compared with other provinces, Guangxi's preferential policies for Taiwan enterprises, the service and integrity of government officials made him make this choice. In recent years, Taiwan businessmen have been moved by the "nanny" service provided by Guangxi, and more and more Taiwan businessmen like Chen Chongguang have invested in Guangxi.

"The reduction and exemption of all kinds of taxes and fees can be regarded as a carbon delivery in the snow for Taiwan enterprises in the start-up stage." On June 23, Chen Chongguang, the project leader of Nanning Maxi Shoes Co., Ltd., said. In 2007, they planned to transfer their shoes projects in Dongguan and began to look for destinations throughout the country. One year later, they selected two provinces and regions. After comparison, they felt that Guangxi had preferential policies such as taxation and land, as well as support from national policies, so they finally settled the $80 million project in Nanning ASEAN Economic Park.

After the completion of the shoes project of Maxi Group in Nanning, the relevant certificates required by the enterprise, such as land certificate and land use certificate, have not been obtained for the time being. When Chen Chongguang was worried, the staff of the park management committee went to each relevant department to "run errands" in person, making each department open a "green channel" for Taiwan enterprises.

Chen Chongguang was even more moved by the fact that there were few shoes, leather and other products exported in large quantities in Guangxi before, and there was no corresponding inspection standard in the customs clearance process, which made customs clearance very difficult. To this end, the Park Management Committee specially invited experienced enterprises and customs, inspection and quarantine departments to hold a symposium to help enterprises communicate with government departments and see if they can solve the problem as soon as possible.

It's a coincidence. When Jiang Wenhao, a Taiwanese businessman, first came to Yangshuo to set up Xanadu Scenic Area, due to differences in communication with local people, he was often misunderstood and blocked by local people, so it was difficult to carry out his work. Yangshuo County Government immediately organized the staff of agriculture, water and electricity, construction planning bureau and other units to set up a professional working group to serve Taiwan businessmen after learning the situation. In order to do a good job of farmers' work, members of the professional working group often go to farmers' homes to talk with them, and they can talk until late at night, finally building a bridge between Taiwanese businessmen and ordinary people.

Such things have long been common in the work of the park management committee, municipal governments, Taiwan Affairs Offices and other departments in Guangxi. They laughed that "nanny style" tracking service is one of the secrets of retaining Taiwanese businessmen.

Chen Chongguang said that the administrative functions of officials have been constantly improved, and many standards have been developed from scratch. His work style of handling special affairs and being decisive has made him more confident in the investment prospects of Guangxi.

After the Guangxi Taiwan Economic, Trade and Cultural Cooperation Forum was held in 2005, Jiang Wenhao clearly felt the changes in the services provided by the people and the government. He said that with the more frequent exchanges between Guangxi and Taiwan, the people of Guangxi are increasingly supporting their work.

The staff of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the autonomous region said that in 2009, the government of the autonomous region issued the "Several Policies and Measures to Support the Development of Taiwan funded Enterprises", which includes 24 items in five categories, including industrial support, financial support, tax relief, financial support, land and sea use support, optimization of the investment environment and improvement of service levels, even for the family members of Taiwan businessmen in employment, education There are clear requirements and measures for medical care and other aspects of care, known as "the most comprehensive and preferential policies and measures to support the development of Taiwan funded enterprises". The government is meticulous and considerate in order to let Taiwanese businessmen stay and develop well.
