In the 1-5 month of 2010, sales, output and export of leather, fur and feather (velvet) and their products maintained a two digit growth rate.

The sales value of leather, fur, feather (velvet) and its products industry increased by 30.56% in the same month, and the total sales increased by 26.32%. The production and sales rate of that month was 97.54%, down 0.28% from the same period last year, and the cumulative sales rate was 97.89%, an increase of 0.13% over the same period last year. The delivery value of exports increased by 16.91% over the same month, and the total increase was 15.83%.

The cumulative output of leather products in all industries increased by 2.7%, except for natural leather handbags (bags) and backpacks. The rest showed a two digit rapid increase, of which the production of tanned fur increased by 42.5% year-on-year, the largest increase.
