2010 Guangzhou Asian Games emblem and concept

Asian Games

The Organizing Committee held the 2010 Asian Games in Zhongshan memorial hall, Guangzhou.

Emblem

The ceremony was symbolized by Zhang Qiang, a designer in Guangzhou.

Yangcheng

The emblem of Guangzhou became the emblem of the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou.

The emblem is designed with soft and beautiful lines, forming a shape resembling the torch. The composition of the emblem is abstract and figurative. It is steady in smart and elegant. It symbolizes the burning and never extinguishing of the Olympic flame.

It not only embodies the symbol of the city of Guangzhou, but also expresses the good wishes of the people of Guangzhou, and shows the dynamic feeling of the sports meet.


The emblem consists of six elements:

Cultural activity mark


Cantonese Opera is a unique traditional opera in south of the Five Ridges.

The prototype of the Guangzhou Asian Games cultural activities is taken from the Cantonese Opera Facebook.

The sign vividly deduces the moving moments of Hua Dan's singing and singing, and the moving moments of his eyes, which has strong south of the Five Ridges flavor and distinctive artistic features.
