Second, continue to talk about bad news.

Tell them that you have to reduce losses, dismiss some people, or reduce spending on certain projects.

Pause and wait for your voice to be heard by the other party.


Finally, state how you will help those who are fired.

For example, you set up special people to teach your employees how to write your resume and find new jobs.

If you don't want to do these things, ask them to finish the work at hand, pack up their things, and leave the office before a certain time.
