Usually buying clothes, if the material is cotton, people like to ask, "is this dress shrunk?" stores often say, "rest assured, there is absolutely no problem." But recently, the consumer association has received several complaints of shrinkage. The survey found that when judging the shrinkage of clothing, there is a gap in the legal level, and there is also a certain degree of difficulty in the actual operation level.

Is this wrinkle normal?

Ms. Han of Xiuzhou District, Jiaxing, Zhejiang, bought a famous store in a shopping mall. Brand knitted sweater It cost 700 yuan. In the shopping mall, how to look at the clothes that you like, and after wearing a "show" for a while after coming home, Ms. Han found that the collar was drooping down and there was a deep wrinkle.

Ms. Han found a counter and asked for a return. The shop owner explained, "this is a normal phenomenon. Everyone's shape and temperament are different, and the wearing effect varies from person to person." The store refused to return, Ms. Han complained to the Consumer Association.

The staff of the Association came to the counter to compare the different sizes of the sweater, and let Ms. Han try it on once. At the same time, she inquired the opinions of the relevant departments such as quality inspection and so on, and initially identified that the sweater had some quality problems.

After the mediation of Consumers Association, the store agreed to return it for Ms. Han.

The Korean version of woolen sweater has become a slimming garment.

Miss Yang bought a Korean sweater. After washing and drying, she found that she could not wear it. Because the original sweater has been seriously shrunk, it has become a slimming garment. Miss Yang asked the store to pay for the damage, but the store said she might not have washed the clothes according to the washing instructions on the signs, and refused to pay the compensation.

The two sides finally came to the Consumer Association. The staff of the association looked at the sign of the sweater. The information on the type, fabric quality and washing method of the product was marked, but no shrinkage rate was noted.

The problem of shrinkage has not been emphasized in daily consumption. Reporters in the shopping mall random interview found that consumers in the purchase of clothing, attention is mainly concentrated on the color, style, size of clothes. When deciding whether to buy, there is not much question about whether the clothes will shrink or shrink, or wishfully believe in the quality and technology of the brand.

Standard and difficult to operate

The shrinkage of fabrics refers to the percentage of shrinkage of fabrics after washing or soaking. In 2004, the state issued a national standard for textiles, which stipulates that the rate of change in the size of washing products in the textile products should not exceed 2% to 3%, and the first-class products should not exceed 2% to 4%, and the qualified products should not exceed 2% to 5%.

But in actual operation, if we want to detect whether the shrinkage of a knitted sweater exceeds the standard, we must detect the knitted sweater that has not been worn. Besides spending money and manpower, consumers and operators may not necessarily approve of the test results. In addition, the Xiuzhou District Consumer Association believes that, as clothing has not yet been included in the national "three pack" directory, product quality law And other related laws are too general to solve many problems of clothing quality.

Up to now, Xiuzhou Consumers Association has received 18 complaints of clothing and shoes and hats this year, and clothing complaints mainly focus on shrinkage, size deviation and defects. For such complaints, consumer associations generally conduct mediation in accordance with commercial practices. If the consumers are not suitable for the specifications, sizes and styles of the garments purchased, they are required to replace them, so long as they do not affect the two sale, the operators should give them back in a certain period of time. However, clothing after-sale service is usually provided by stores or stores, and there is no uniform standard. Once the quality problems occur, consumers will be in the market. Rights protection It is easy to be passive.
