Shortage of electric coal

In the 9 provinces of northwest, central and North China, power supply was insufficient.

After many measures have been taken, the power supply of Henan, Hubei, Shaanxi, Chongqing, Hunan and Jiangxi power grids is still tight.

The State Grid said it would step up its efforts to ensure that every winter and spring, especially in the future.

Electricity supply.

It is reported that since December, under the influence of low temperature weather, the electricity load has continued to rise. In the 26 provinces of the State Grid, a total of 15 provincial power grids increased by 10% over the same period.

In December 25th, the nation's electricity generation reached 12 billion 818 million kwh, creating a new peak for winter.

At present, the power supply of Henan, Hubei, Shaanxi, Chongqing, Hunan, Jiangxi and other power grids continues to be tight.

In December 29th, five provinces and cities of Henan, Hubei, Shaanxi, Chongqing and Hunan took the maximum electric power of sluice and error avoidance measures to reach 357, 186, 101, 68, 320 thousand kilowatts respectively, but the tension situation of power supply and demand has not been fundamentally relieved.

Especially in Central China, due to lack of coal and water, the contradiction between supply and demand of electricity is more prominent.

Since the beginning of winter, the largest power load in Central China has reached 102 million 310 thousand kilowatts, an increase of 8.14% over the same period last year, approaching the maximum load of summer history.

The State Grid predicts that the power gap between central China Power Grid and China will reach 10 billion kwh from 1 to February 2011.

According to Xinhua news agency, in the face of severe electricity supply situation, the State Grid said it would take various measures to ensure safe and reliable electricity supply during New Year's Eve and mid winter.

In view of the most prominent supply and demand contradiction in Central China, 1 million 500 thousand kilowatts of p regional power will be added to support the central China power grid, and 500 thousand kilowatts will be sent up through the Three Gorges power station.

In addition, before the new year's day comes, the State Grid will complete 40 projects to increase the pmission capacity of the grid, increasing the pmission capacity of 4 million 744 thousand kilowatts.

The power grid will also strengthen communication and coordination with the meteorological departments and make emergency preparations to prevent the adverse effects of bad weather in winter on electricity production.
