After being hit, they pressed on the new president Dilma Rousseff to fight back.

From auto parts to shoes and textiles, various imports are pouring into factories and supermarket shelves in Brazil.

Brazil Real appreciated more than 30% against the US dollar in a short span of two years.

Meanwhile, imports from China increased significantly, and imports from China increased by 60% last year.

Raul Klein, vice president of Brazil footwear industry association, said: "the Chinese are destroying us. If we do not act quickly, our industrial strength will gradually collapse."

Rousseff, the new president of Brazil, is also worried about China's policy. She is moving away from the position of former president Lula. Lula believes that Beijing is more of an ally than an enemy of Brazil. An alliance with Beijing will help to curb the influence of the United States and Europe in Latin America.

When he assumed office, Rousseff promised to discuss the issue of RMB exchange rate at the BRICs summit in April.

China's exports to Pakistan surged to $25 billion 600 million last year, much higher than the $16 billion in 2009 and $5 billion 300 million in 2005.

For Brazil, China is now the second largest supplier after the US, and 80% of its exports to Pakistan come from manufacturing.
