International Equity Trade Fairtrade Labelling Organizations International (FLO International) - a global fair trade standard and a fair trade certification label have been launched, and a major work plan has been launched to find out how to make the textile industry. Worker Receive benefit.


According to the current fair trade cotton Standards, textile manufacturers are working with the Fairtrade Cotton World Fair Trade Organization and must demonstrate their commitment to abide by the core labour standards of the International Labour Organization.


At present, there is no fair trade standard specifically formulated for textile workers. However, manufacturers must meet one of 8 indicators, such as SA 8000 (Social Responsibility Standard System) certification or a letter of guarantee issued by the International Confederation of Free Trade Unions ICFTU.


FLO International textile department manager Rossitza Krueger said, "with the implementation of this work plan, we hope to surpass the core labor force." Right The focus will be on empowering employees, and striving to raise labor wages, fair trade subsidies, long-term contracts and support for trade union organizations.


At present, the organization is supervising 5 parallel development strategies for a major project to determine how to achieve fair trade in the textile industry and bring a positive impact on textile workers.


In this fall, FLO International will study all the results of the five strategies and determine which methods and standards can provide maximum benefits for textile workers.
