The latest research report of the world's largest commercial real estate service company, CB Richard Ellis, released the world's ten largest.

The top ten cities are Hongkong, Dubai, London, New York, Paris, Moscow, Singapore, Tokyo, Losangeles and Beijing.


The report on the globalization process of Retailing in 2011 shows that Hongkong is still the world's largest luxury product.

It has attracted 84% of the world's luxury brands.


The annual survey of World Bank Richard Henry describes the global development footprint of the world's 323 largest retailers in more than 200 countries and regions, and explores the expansion trend of global retail industry at the national and local levels.

Nick Ike Sifford, head of the Asia Pacific Research Division of the world bank, said Hongkong ranked the top, reflecting the popularity of local luxury residents and the increasing number of mainland travelers.


Singapore, Tokyo and Beijing also rank among the ten largest luxury goods markets, indicating that Asia is still the main target market for luxury brands. Many retailers have opened stores in Asia, and some have opened flagship stores to better publicize their brands.


In the ranking of all the retail sectors in the world, Dubai ranks among the world's largest retail target markets.

Ranking closely followed by Dubai and London is New York, which has a mature retail market. (the number of retailers stationed in the city accounts for 44.3% of the total global retailers), Paris (43.6%) and Hongkong (40.6%).
