Taobao High Imitation Fake

Mr. Zhang of Jiangyin, Jiangsu, saw a price tag of 1700 yuan on a Taobao online shop named "Shanghai style celebrity Museum".

Burberry

The coat is priced at 10000 yuan at the exclusive store.

Seeing that the store has a high credibility and a good customer evaluation, Mr. Zhang readily bought the clothes.

After receiving the goods, it was found that the quality was general, and the model was slightly larger. Mr. Zhang asked for a rejection of the goods and complained to Jiangyin commerce and Industry Bureau in a rage.

In December 8th last year, the Jiangyin industrial and Commercial Bureau found that Li Zhifeng, a shopkeeper, was located in Jiangyin's warehouse and was jointly investigated with the public security organs. 9 staff members were arrested and more than 10000 pieces were seized at the scene.

Fake international brands

Clothing, shoes, hats, bags and so on, the value of goods up to more than 5000 yuan.

In 2010, the first special case of the State Council and the ten typical cases of nationwide anti counterfeiting were listed.

In June this year, the people's Court of Jiangyin City publicly heard the case and sentenced the case of the sale of counterfeit registered trademarks to the court. The defendant Li Zhifeng was sentenced to 5 years' imprisonment and a fine of 5 million yuan. The other 3 defendants were sentenced to probation and fined.

The judgement is now in force.

Give up public office and scale online selling.

Li Zhifeng, 32 years old, was born in a city in Hunan province. He entered the university with the first place in the college entrance examination in. After graduating from graduate school, he was successfully admitted to the civil service in the city.

But he was not satisfied with the status quo. He was intent on making big money.

In 2009, Li Zhifeng registered an online shop called Taobao style Museum.

In his view, "Chinese people like to chase international brands, even fake ones."

He tried to sell fake international famous brands on the Internet, such as "LV", "

GUCCI

"," Armani "," Versace "and other international brands.

In order to expand the business, Li Zhifeng has registered two online stores, the "glutinous rice house flagship store" and "Luo Shen brand original single store".

After a new plan for the future, he resigned wholeheartedly into the so-called "business".

In September 2009, Li Zhifeng set up five departments, namely creative department, branch department, promotion department, customer service / After-sale warehouse, etc., and began large-scale operation of online stores, with up to 38 staff members.

High imitation price, sales amount of more than ten million

Because online shop does not require authorization for merchandise sales, Li Zhifeng has an opportunity to take advantage of it.

His online shop is marked with "original single quality tail goods" sign, the degree of counterfeiting is very high, and the price is one to eighty percent off of the genuine product, thus attracting a large number of Internet users.

Li Zhifeng's first month's income was 100 thousand yuan, and by September 2010, his monthly income had reached about 1000000 yuan, which surprised him.

Li Zhifeng moved the storehouse to Jiangyin, when he planned to sell and sell the "Shanghai style Museum of fame" as a brand.

After knowing that the warehouse was checked, Li Zhifeng fled to Changsha, Guizhou and Xingyi in Hunan.

In February 26th this year, the Jiangyin police seized it after nearly 2 months of hard tracking.

In June 1st, the people's Court of Jiangyin held a trial on the sale of counterfeit registered trademarks by Li Zhifeng and others.

Through trial, the court found that defendant Li Zhifeng sold more than 36110 counterfeit 124 registered trademarks through three online stores between October 4, 2009 and December 2010 8, the total amount of sales amounted to RMB 1174 yuan, and the illegal income of RMB 410 yuan.

The court decided that the defendant Li Zhifeng and his other 3 staff members had constituted the crime of selling counterfeit registered trademarks.

Online shops need to be monitored

Nowadays, online shopping is becoming more and more popular, and it also adds new channels to the circulation of counterfeit goods.

When some shop operators advertise their products, they often claim that the goods on hand are processed by the international brands in the domestic factories, or the products that are eliminated from the factory inspection.

In fact, the production management of international brands is very strict. Once a genuine or defective product is found to flow into the market through some channels, the processing plant will face a high fine.

There are also a number of international first-line brands, there is no generation processing plant in China.

Although the online shopping platform has been strictly prohibited for infringing intellectual property rights, we can see from the Li Zhifeng case that we still do not have effective supervision measures for online sales.

If we want to stop the source of online selling, first of all, consumers should be mindset and rational consumption. At the same time, regulators should also step up supervision to crack down on violations of intellectual property rights and the manufacture and sale of fake and shoddy commodities.
