According to reports, Wang Qishan, vice premier of the State Council of China, said at the second international competition conference of BRICs in September 21st.

"During this period, China will further deepen reform, open wider to the outside world, encourage innovation, constantly improve the price formation mechanism of all kinds of factors, break the monopoly of industries, intensify competition law enforcement, strive to create a fair market environment for competition, and promote sound and rapid economic development.


Wang Qishan said that over the past 30 years since reform and opening up, China has broken through the shackles of the planned economic system, explored and established a socialist market economic system, and gradually formed a unified open, competitive and orderly market system, and the driving force and vitality of economic development have been increasing.

Wang Qishan pointed out that the Chinese government attaches great importance to competition law enforcement, investigates and prosecute all kinds of unfair competition according to law, and encourages enterprises to compete fairly.


Wang Qishan stressed that in the context of the current global economic recovery still facing severe challenges, competition and law enforcement cooperation among all countries should focus on the goal of strong, sustainable and balanced growth of the economy, expand mutual openness and resolutely oppose all forms of protectionism.
