Lishui Will Focus On Environmental Pollution In The Synthetic Leather Industry

A few days ago, our city identified the 10 key environmental problems of the first batch of municipal supervisors, and made clear that the goal of environmental remediation will be completed by the end of 2010.

The 10 key environmental problems are: environmental pollution of leather industry and synthetic leather industry in Lishui economic development zone; environmental pollution in Lishui Industrial Park; environmental pollution in Suichang Industrial Park; environmental pollution in Yunhe and wooden toy park; environmental pollution in Longquan Industrial Park; environmental pollution in surface treatment industry of Wenxi economic development zone; environmental pollution in stainless steel industry in Songyang County; environmental pollution in Xinjiang River Basin; environmental pollution in Zhu Kou River Basin; pollution of waste plastics processing industry in Jingning.

Of the 10 key environmental problems, 8 are environmental pollution problems in the development zones above the provincial level.

The 8 development zones (industrial parks) mainly include environmental protection infrastructure construction lagging behind, some enterprises excessive discharge of pollutants and waste water, exhaust pollution and other environmental problems.

Among them, Lishui Economic Development Zone leather base, synthetic leather industry pollution problem is the provincial government as the province "811" environmental protection new three years of action the first batch of provincial supervision of 11 key environmental problems, and asked before 2009 "pick the hat".

At the same time, as a province wide environmental problem, the environmental problems of the Development Zone (Industrial Park) have been included in the 11 key environmental problems of provincial supervision.

In accordance with the requirements of the provincial government, the city should finish more than 1 by the end of 2008, and finish more than 50% by the end of 2009. The environmental improvement task of the Development Zone (Industrial Park) will be completed before the end of 2010.

Our city has introduced the "811" action plan for environmental protection in the new three year. It will strengthen the environmental infrastructure construction, strictly implement various environmental protection systems, and intensify supervision and assessment, so as to achieve the goal of "lifting cap" for 10 key environmental problems by the end of 2010.
