Tetsuya Shono Tetsuya Shono joined Japan's New Balance in 1997.

A year later, he entered the company's direct selling section in Tokyo to find out more market information.

In 1998, he pferred to the footwear design division, using his skills and first-hand knowledge of the market to design innovative shoes.

Since 2002, Tetsuya has worked in the sales division of the company.

During this period, he handled many major products, including running shoes, training shoes, sports shoes and other products.

The highlight of his career is that he participated in the New Balance top global project, Super Team 33 series (ST33) in 2007. In order to fit the name of the series, the shoe series are developed quarterly by the United States, Japan, Europe and the Asia Pacific team.

The shoes are available only in 33 retail outlets worldwide, with only 24 pairs in each retail area.

He developed the "devil fish" series, with only 2 pairs of limited edition shoes. This series uses the least color and real devil fish leather to create another incredible beauty, precious and high quality design work.

Tetsuya graduated from Tokyo University of law and engineering, majoring in architecture.
