India'S Cotton Exports Rose 66% In February

In February, cotton exporters in India signed 449800 packages of raw cotton export contracts, up 66% from January, according to government statistics on Friday.

In February 17th, the government of India announced a 5% increase in tariff incentives to export raw cotton, including Vishesh Krishi and Gram Udyog Yojana, which took effect from April 1st.
