Brazil leather exports grew steadily before October
Brazil is rich in leather resources, and exports a lot of natural leather materials every year, which brings great benefits to Brazil.
According to statistics from the Ministry of development, industry and foreign trade of Brazil, leather industry in Brazil exported nearly $2 billion 500 million worth of leather in the first 10 months of 2014.
Brazilian Tanning Industry Association (CICB) of Brazil said that leather exports increased by 21% in the first 10 months of this year compared with the same period last year.
The association also said that in October alone, Brazil exported $249 million of leather, an increase of 5.1% over the same period last year.
