A Shoe Company Has Not Been Reported To Be Fined For Its Occupational Case.

Recently, the Fuzhou Bureau of safety and production supervision and administration in the organization of the special examination of the occupational case employers found a family in Fuqing.

The company fails to report occupational cases to the local safety production supervision and management department according to the regulations, and makes a decision on ordering the company to make corrections within a prescribed time limit and impose a fine according to law.

It is reported that this is the first occupational health administrative punishment issued by the Fuzhou Safety Supervision Bureau in 2015 since the handover of occupational health supervision function.

"An employee of the shoe company was exposed to industrial benzene for a long time because of his work in color printing. He discovered the condition in April 2015 and was later diagnosed as an occupational disease with chronic severe benzene poisoning."

A staff member of the Regulation Bureau of the City Safety Supervision Bureau told reporters that after receiving the certificate of occupational disease diagnosis, the company did not report occupational cases to the relevant departments in time. The safety supervision department thought that the company's behavior violated the fifty-first provision of the People's Republic of China occupational disease prevention act.

Reporters from Fuzhou City Safety Supervision Bureau was informed that the current occupation disease prevention and control basis is still relatively weak, a considerable number of employers lack the concept of occupational disease prevention and control, do not understand occupational health related.

Standards and systems, staff awareness of occupational disease prevention and control is weak, lack of self-protection common sense, enterprises are not enough to invest in occupational disease prevention and control, construction project occupational health "Three Simultaneity", workplace occupational hazard detection, occupational health examination and personal protective measures are not in place, so the occupational disease prevention and control work in the whole city needs to be strengthened.

In this year's safety supervision work, the Safety Supervision Bureau will give full play to the joint management role of the joint conference members and the competent departments of the industry, carry out thorough investigation and basic construction activities of the occupational hazards, and highlight the special rectification of the key industries of occupational hazards, increase the enforcement of the law and administrative penalties, and timely check up.
