This issue has attracted the attention of the government: last year, the United Kingdom launched the nationwide social media anti fake activities. These social media have replaced the electronic business platform and become the largest source of fake products.

In January, Tencent Inc said that after launching the complaint system in the second half of 2015, the company received 17000 fake reports and sealed more than 7000 WeChat accounts.

It is understood that the global annual sales of counterfeit goods are between 2500-6000 billion dollars, and most of them are made in China, and then flow into various countries through physical stores or online platforms.

More than half of fake sellers sell goods through social media, up 10% from 3 years ago, according to Ken Gamble, a consultant.

Last year, in order to remind consumers to guard against counterfeit goods, Ugg created an anti fake page on Facebook.

Facebook and Instagram say they take the intellectual property rights of brands seriously and are stepping up their efforts to crack down on counterfeit goods.

In order to crack down on these fake products in social media, companies have designed software for identifying fake products and created false characters to infiltrate Facebook groups.

The UK's trade standards agency also created virtual social media roles for counterfeit goods, using these roles to buy goods from fake traders, so as to get rid of it all.
