Textile Chamber Helps Enterprises Open Up Overseas Markets

In recent years, in the face of the difficulties in the development of the textile and garment industry, the China Textile Import and Export Chamber of Commerce has continuously innovated and developed in many aspects such as international forums, industry research, legal aid and exhibition exhibitions, so as to help and guide and support the better development of enterprises, bases and industries.

In response to last year's trade friction, the China Textile Import and Export Chamber of Commerce issued a statement on the day of the list, which provided the background of the case and tax related product information through the WeChat public number and the official website of the chamber of Commerce. At the same time, it set up trade frictions to deal with the leading group and comprehensively initiated the trade frictions of the China Textiles Import and export chamber; and then went to Hebei, Shandong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Guangdong and other provinces and cities, and convened more than 70 export seminars to the US exporters, and listened widely to the opinions of the competent commercial departments and enterprises.

Through cooperation with textile industry in Asia, the China Textile Import and export chamber has successfully held China and Asia International Textile Forum for six consecutive years.

Every year, we invite industry organizations and agencies from the International Fashion Federation and the United States, China, Taiwan, China, Hongkong, Vietnam, India, Burma, Bangladesh, Pakistan and other countries and regions, as well as representatives from well-known enterprises such as Li Feng Group, Martha general store, WAL-MART, Esprit, and Xu Rong Group, to talk about the sustainable development of the global textile and garment industry.

After 6 years of hard work, the forum has been established as the most important annual event of China and Asia's textile and garment trade circles and the "one belt and one way" cooperation platform for China's textile import and export.

Actively implementing the "Sino African industrialization cooperation plan", the China Textile Import and Export Chamber of Commerce has organized many entrepreneurs delegation to trade and investment docking in Egypt, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda and other African countries. They visit local trade and Industry Department, development department, immigration bureau, business association and other departments to understand investment and trade policies, conduct field research on industrial parks to carry out industrial docking, and seek opportunities for production cooperation.

In addition, the China Textiles Import and export chamber has actively assisted the government delegations of Nigeria, Ethiopia and Kenya to hold seminars on African countries' investment environment in Shanghai, Zhuji, Wuxi, Guangzhou and Shaoxing Keqiao.

The China Textile Import and Export Chamber of Commerce has held the China Textile and apparel exhibition in Australia since 2001. It has been successfully held for the 18 time. The exhibition has become a famous overseas exhibition in the textile and garment industry.

Since 2016, the China Textile Import and Export Chamber of Commerce has held the Canadian apparel and textile procurement exhibition in Toronto, Canada, ending the history of Canada's non textile apparel exhibition.

Since 2017, the Burma international textile exhibition has been held in Burma.

In 2018, the China Textile Import and export chamber held the exhibition of clothing and textiles procurement in Miami, USA.

This year, the China Textile Import and Export Chamber of Commerce will also hold an exhibition of clothing and textiles procurement in Berlin, Germany.

In addition, the chamber of Commerce has been participating in exhibitions in Frankfurt, Germany and Taipei.

It is reported that in order to implement the specific requirements of the Ministry of Commerce to promote the development of the "national foreign trade pformation and upgrading base", the demonstration role of the excellent base and the strengthening of the exchange of bases were played. In November last year, the Chinese textile import and Export Chamber of Commerce and the Fujian provincial commerce department held a national conference on the pformation and upgrading of the national textile and clothing trade and upgrading base and the base service ceremony of the base.
