H&M Recall 9000 Sets Of Children's Pajamas Due To The Risk Of Child Burns

H&M's parent company issued a recall order for children's pajamas in the United States, because they may cause a risk of burns.

According to the US Consumer Product Safety Commission, the Swedish fashion retailer is recalling about 9000 children's pajamas because they do not meet the flammability standards of federal children's pajamas.

But so far no reports of incidents or injuries involving these pajamas have been reported.

The recall of children's pajamas was made in Bangladesh and imported by H&M company. From July 2018 to May 2019, these products were sold in H&M stores and online stores in the US.

The recall involves two types of cotton knitted sweater, long sleeved blouse and trousers. The sizes range from 2 to 10 and sell for 14.99 to 24.99 dollars.

The first style is sold in two sets of pajamas, with long sleeves of pink and grey. The front of this pink coat is printed with a dog face screen with two extended 3D ears.

The grey coat has a pink bow decorated in the neckline and pink heart is printed on the left chest. Jacket matches pink and dot print long trousers. The company is recalling pink jacket and grey blouse.

The second styles are for sale only in a single set. The recalled long sleeved single coat is white, with a cat face screen printed in front and two extended 3D ears.

This jacket is matched with white dot pants. This recall includes only jackets.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission said: "consumers should immediately stop using the recalled pajamas and contact H&M to get a full refund, plus a $20 gift card."

In April this year, H&M recalled about 980 sets of American children's hooded bathrobes, on the grounds that children are at risk of burns.

In May 16, 2014, H&M recalled 65 thousand girls' Bottomwear, which posed a risk of suffocation for children.

In November 2017, we recalled some imported H&M brand baby girls sandals. The main problem is that the decorative sequins of infant sandals are not firmly sticked, and some of them will fall off after rubbing or scratching. They may be suffocated by inhalation of oral cavity by infants and there is a potential safety hazard.

2018.7 months recalled some imported H&M brand infant clothing (knitted jacket). The following problems exist: the color fastness of the infant clothing is not qualified, which may have adverse effects on the health of infants and young children, and there is a safety risk.
