At present, the domestic leather shoes manufacturers generally use the traditional oil-based glue. Most of the glue contains benzene. In addition, the use of oil-based glue should be diluted with solvents. These solvents are all explosive chemicals. For this reason, Qian Jinbo, chairman of Red Dragonfly Group, went abroad several times to find a low toxic, non-toxic environment-friendly adhesive.

It is reported that the red dragonfly group can also use the water-based glue to achieve zero emissions of exhaust gas.

The group currently has 5 production bases, taking Yongjia shoes as an example: the annual output of 6 million pairs of shoes, 1 years to use 10 thousand barrels of glue, 1 barrels of 15 kilograms, the original glue 20% is solid, 80% is volatile.

Now there are no volatiles after using water-based glue, so less than 120 tons of gas will be emitted from the base in 1 years and 1 years.

It does not include the cost of investment, installation of solvent addition and dangerous explosion-proof devices.
